This beautiful recipe is perfect for spring. You can pair this pesto with almost anything! Pasta, bread or even eating it a spoon full at a time. It’s Delicious! This pesto is basic and can be used using different herbs, nuts or seasoning.
- 100 grams of fresh picked Basil
- 25 grams of organic pine nuts
- 25 grams of pecans
- 4 tbsp of Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
This recipe is super simple. First of all, pop everything in the blender without the olive oil and blend.
After that, you are going to slowly add olive oil while blending until you get your desired consistency.
The olive oil I am using today is not store bought. We bought this olive oil from a farm and it is so rich and fragrant.
Finally, pour your pesto into a jar and then slowly pour olive oil over the pesto to prevent the pesto from rotting.
Make sure that you pour it into an airtight container.
