Grilled Chicken

How many times have you tried to grill a chicken breast and ended up with a dry piece of chicken that is too tough to swallow. Well, I guarantee that if you use this marinade, you will never have to eat a dry piece of chicken breast again!

Ingredients:

  • 450 grams of chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup of rice or white vinegar
  • 4 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic (grated)

Preparation:

One of the biggest mistakes people do when grilling chicken is not levelling them out. Chicken breasts tend to be thicker on the top half. This is why you are going to cut the piece in half after butter-flying it.

After that, you are going to put your chicken in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients and leave to marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.

After 2 hours your chicken will absorb most of the marinade. It is time to get grilling.

Chicken 4

When you are grilling your chicken, do not try to flip it by force. If the chicken is sticking to the grill that just means that its not cooked yet. It will release of the grill when it is done cooking and that is because it will start to release it’s water. That is when its time to flip. You should be left with beautiful grill marks. I am grilling indoors on an electric grill.

After both sides have been grilled to perfection. Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Your grilled chicken is ready! You can cut them into slices for a salad or to share.
